The DC Department of Health (DOH) offers programs for those with HIV or AIDS, including AIDS drug assistance, prevention, medical care, housing, transportation, and hotlines.
 
The DOH coordinates the identification, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in the District of Columbia. Services include free STD testing, confidential counseling, and community outreach.
